My passion for real estate began when my husband and I purchased our first investment property in 1995. We subdivided 10 acres in Berkeley County, WV, into 5 residential building lots. We have since developed numerous subdivisions in Morgan, Frederick, and Shenandoah counties. When the real estate market experienced the downturn beginning in 2008, we began purchasing foreclosure properties. I felt the lure to make real estate my career - one of the best decisions I ever made! Having built 15 personal and speculative homes with several local builders (including one where I was the general contractor), owned multiple rentals, flipped several properties, and a husband that is a licensed land surveyor, I have gained valuable experience in many facets of the real estate industry. Born, raised and a life-long resident of Frederick County, I married a fellow James Wood graduate. This was way back when there was only one high school in Frederick County! My husband and I are the proud parents of 2 grown children with wonderful spouses, 1 grand dog, and 4 grand kitties.
